Zumunta USA President Arrives Lafia to Commence Convention Activities, Hails Nasarawa’s Progress
The President of Zumunta Association USA, Mr. Sunday Bitrus, has arrived in Lafia, Nasarawa State, ahead of the association’s much-anticipated National Convention. He was welcomed by state officials and cultural ambassadors in a warm reception at the Lafia City Gate.
Accompanied by a delegation of key Zumunta stakeholders, including past presidents and representatives from the Nigerians in Diaspora Commission (NiDCOM), Mr. Bitrus commended the state government’s hospitality and infrastructure development under Governor Abdullahi Sule. The delegation emphasized the significance of the convention in strengthening cultural ties and deepening diaspora engagement for development.
Receiving the delegation, former Secretary to the State Government, Hajiya Dr. Zainab Talatu Ahmed, conveyed Governor Sule’s commitment to fostering mutually beneficial partnerships.
