Governor Namadi Inaugurates COMTTRAJIGAWA Hibiscus Processing Plant
Governor Namadi of Jigawa State marked a significant milestone in the state’s economic diversification efforts with the official commissioning of COMTTRAJIGAWA, a state-of-the-art Hibiscus Processing Plant at Maigatari Export Processing Zone. Established through a Public Private Partnership with Comttraex Nigeria Limited, the plant underscores the state’s commitment to agricultural transformation and value addition. With Jigawa being one of Nigeria’s top producers of hibiscus, COMTTRAJIGAWA is poised to become a hub for hibiscus aggregation, cleaning, and export, benefiting farmers and boosting the local economy. Governor Namadi expressed gratitude to partners and stakeholders for their dedication to the project and emphasized the state’s commitment to agricultural development and exports.
