Lagos Health District III Engages Stakeholders for Enhanced Healthcare Services

Dr. Monsurat Adeleke, the Permanent Secretary of Lagos State Health District III, recently orchestrated a Community Engagement and Sensitization program to collaborate with Ibeju Lekki Local Government residents, emphasizing the significance of accessible healthcare services in the region.

During the event held at Ibeju Teachers Hall, Dr. Adeleke underscored the administration’s commitment, led by Mr. Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu, to prioritize community healthcare by fostering lasting relationships with stakeholders. The session, attended by the Ibeju-Lekki Chairman, royal fathers, and community leaders, aimed to strategize ways to bolster fair and effective healthcare services.

Dr. Adeleke emphasized the imperative of fortifying partnerships among Health District III, Council Authority, and Traditional Rulers, envisioning an improved healthcare system tailored to meet the needs of Ibeju Lekki’s populace.

“This initiative aligns with Mr. Governor’s THEMES Plus agenda, acknowledging accessible, high-quality healthcare services as fundamental rights for every citizen,” Dr. Adeleke reiterated.

In a supportive gesture, the Chairman of Ibeju-Lekki Local Government, Hon. Abdullahi Sesan Olowa, pledged dedication to enhancing the primary healthcare system, fostering health-oriented initiatives in Ibeju Lekki, and its surrounding areas.
